Breathless in Trinidad & Tobago: Video Documentary

In February 2008, Vincent T Joachim and Jeff Cruz traveled to Gonzales, Trinidad and setup a photography program with 15 marginalized youth. The workshop documented the Carnival, their community and culture.
The participants were youth ages 14-18. They live in a neighborhood that is very poor and their environment is filled with drugs, HIV and crime. This photo workshop was created to empower the youth through the arts. This event had a huge impact on the youth, as they were able to learn new skills, build confidence and self-esteem.
This is a fundraiser and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to the youth who participated in the workshop.

Vincent T Joachim explores the world around us and showcases mother natures science through photography. Over 20 pictures will be on display at the Creative Kids Museum. Vincent will also be having to spring break workshops teaching the youth ages 9-12 how to make a pin hole camera.
